Glenside Memorial Hall

Glenside, PA, 19038 PARKING ALERT:
To alleviate the parking crunch around the Glenside Memorial Hall and adjacent facilities, Cheltenham Township is directing all users of the Hall to park in the Glenside Library lot, which is just across the intersection from the Hall. It is also OK to park along Waverly St. across from the Hall. The Township asks that we not park along either side of Keswick Ave. so that those spaces can be used by residents and users of the adjacent recreation facilities.

DIRECTIONS:
From central New Jersey and points north and west of Phila.:

Take the PA Turnpike to Exit 339 (Fort Washington), and get on Route 309 South.

Take 309 S. approx. 4.5 miles to the Glenside/Easton Rd exit, and from the exit ramp turn left (north) onto Easton Rd.

Take Easton Road past Arcadia University on the left and go to the 3rd traffic lite (approx. 1/2 mile), and turn right onto Waverly Rd.

Go 2 short blocks to Keswick Ave.

The Hall is on the far left corner of this intersection, Waverly and Keswick. See parking alert, above.

From Delaware and points south:

Take I-95 North into Penna. to Exit 7, and get on I-476 North.

Take I-476 approx. 20 miles to the PA Turnpike (I-276), and get on the Turnpike going EAST.

Then follow the directions above, "From central New Jersey..."

From Northeast Philadelphia:

Take Rt 73 West (Cottman Ave. which changes name to Township Line Rd in Montgomery County) to Jenkintown.

Where Rt 73 turns left onto Washington Lane, go straight, staying on Township Line Road.

Continue to first traffic light at Summit Avenue (approx. 1/2 mile), and turn left, going over the train tracks to another light and turn right onto Glenside Avenue.

Take Glenside Ave. approx. 3/4 mile to Keswick Ave. and turn left.

Go approx. 1/4 mile to stop sign at Waverly Road. The Hall is on your left. See parking alert, above.

From other points in Phila.:

Get onto Lincoln Drive going north (away from Center City) and proceed to traffic light at Emlen St.

Turn left on Emlen St, which after you pass Allens Lane, is named Cresheim Valley Drive.

Take Creshiem Valley until it ends at Stenton Ave.

Turn right on Stenton, go just 100 feet to the next light, turn left onto Ivy Hill Rd.

Take Ivy Hill until it ends, and turn right onto Cheltenham Ave.

Go to the first light, and turn left onto Easton Rd.

Take Easton Rd. about 1 1/4 miles to Waverly Rd, and turn right.

Go 2 short blocks to Keswick Ave. The Hall is on the far left corner of this intersection.See parking alert, above.
